There are other absorbent products that are not included in TAP, but are useful to know about. For example:
- Absorbent products for infrequent light urinary incontinence
- Chair and bed pads.
Absorbent products for infrequent light urinary incontinence include different types of single use and washable pads.
These are available in different shapes and sizes to suit different people’s needs.

Unisex

Suitable for males
Chair and bed pads are used to protect furniture from leaks.
These may be used by a person who wears absorbent products for extra protection from leaks.
They may also be used by people to protect furniture when using a bed pan or hand-held urinal, or changing a catheter.
Bed pads are larger than chair pads and sometimes have a flap which tucks in under the mattress.
