The walking aid assessment form includes questions to ask to help decide if the current walking aid is suitable.

If a person is already using a walking aid, you will need to decide with them:

  • If their current walking aid is meeting their needs
  • If their current walking aid needs repair or replacement, or
  • If they need a different walking aid.

You will learn how to decide whether to repair or replace a walking aid in Lesson five.
