  • What to teach to use the transfer board safely
  • If they may benefit from a referral to other services

Ejaz is 24 years old and lives alone. She has a spinal cord injury and cannot move her legs. After injuring her shoulder, she is finding car transfers difficult.

Read the summary of her assessment interview below:

Ejaz assessment interview. She does not have a pressure wound. She is not able to stand and has pain when transferring. She can sit without support, lean to the side and position the transfer board, lean forward, put weight through her hands and easily remember and follow instructions.
