Learners take TAP modules to learn knowledge and skills. The following resources are available for Learners:
- Key words: all modules have a Key words document. This is a glossary of essential terms with simple language definitions and illustrations.
- Key messages: all modules have a Key messages document. This is a summary of the learning content. It reinforces key points and can be downloaded and printed for quick reference.
- Screen form: some modules have a Screen form to record screening findings, identify issues and determine suitable next steps. These forms may be used by Learners in their clinical practice. The forms may also be adapted to match local needs.
- Consent and notification forms: some modules have consent and notification forms, for settings where parents/caregivers are not present.
- Assessment form: some modules have an Assessment form to record a person’s individual and environment characteristics and the assessment findings. This is used to document a plan. These forms may be used by Learners in their clinical practice. The forms may also be adapted to match local needs.
- Selection table: some modules have a Selection table. This is a decision-support guide to help the Learner to match individual needs to assistive products.
- Other resources: there are additional resources which are required for some clinical tasks, such as the distance chart for vision screening.
