Children and adults who have difficulty seeing, which affects their ability to carry out their daily activities are likely to benefit from vision AP.
The type of vision AP depends on the nature of their vision problem and the things they want to do.
What vision AP do they use?
Before providing vision AP, it is essential that there is a thorough review of the person’s vision.
This is to make sure their vision problem is not caused by a condition that could be treated to either restore or improve their vision.
This module teaches how to carry out a simple vision screen. The screen is designed to help identify whether a referral to a doctor or eye health professional is needed before considering possible vision AP.
Do you know how to refer someone to these eye health professionals?
If you do not know the answer to these questions, how can you find out?
