Magnifiers and telescopes

This module teaches learners how to provide magnifiers and telescopes for people 8 years and older following four service steps.

Module duration: Two hours online, followed by supervised practice as needed.

Magnifiers and telescopes included in TAP are relatively low power, ranging between 2x to 6x magnification. Some people may need a magnifier or telescope with more magnification, which should be provided by a person with more training in low vision assistive products.
